This week in our Waymaker Wednesday series, we’re spotlighting Adrika Singh, Co-Founder of Nowlez.ai, an AI-powered research platform that delivers expert analysis on global trends. Based in Delhi, Adrika represents a new generation of legal innovators who seamlessly blend law, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Her journey shows a deep curiosity about how AI and legal systems can intersect to make research, learning, and access to information smarter and more inclusive.

Here’s a peek into her world:

1. What inspired you to join the Women in Legal Tech community?

I joined this community because I wanted to learn from the pioneering women in legal tech, share my own experiences, and be a part of a safe space. It is an environment where I can share my thoughts and ideas openly.

2. If you could solve one problem in the legal world or beyond with technology, what would it be?

My goal is to automate manual work as much as possible. Most importantly, I want to educate lawyers on prompt engineering, to enable them leverage AI the best way possible in their legal practice.

3. What’s one book, podcast, or resource that has made a big impact on how you think about work or life?

I can’t credit any one book or podcast; instead, everything I've learned so far is a combination of my reading and a constant awareness of my surroundings.

4. Outside of work, what’s something you’re passionate about or love spending time on?

I absolutely love debating on national, international, economic, societal, and religious issues. I've been doing it since school. Apart from that, you can find me playing FIFA or watching football.

5. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received as a woman in your career journey?

When someone underestimates you, don't react. Just smile gracefully and let your work speak for itself. However, it's just as important to be vocal about your opinion.

6. If you weren’t working in law or legal tech, what’s another path you would have taken?

Either a Journalist or a Chef.

Adrika’s journey shows that innovation in law doesn’t wait for seniority. It starts with ideas, courage, and the willingness to build. Her work at Nowlez.ai bridges the gap between knowledge and technology, offering a glimpse into what the next chapter of LegalTech could look like.
