The Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA) is calling on legal professionals, innovators, and organisations in India to share their insights for its flagship State of Legal Innovation in Asia-Pacific (SOLIA) Report 2025. This influential report will be launched at TechLawFest 2025 in Singapore on September 10, bringing together voices from across the region.
Please see below both surveys with an introduction to each. Huge thanks to Brian Tang, ALITA Co-Chair, for his organisational efforts on these projects. The findings will become part of a report that will be unveiled at TechLawFest 2025 in Singapore.
This is an opportunity for India’s legaltech ecosystem to showcase its growth, highlight achievements, and contribute to a broader conversation on the future of legal innovation in APAC.
1. ALITA–Lexis Nexis APAC Legaltech & AI Survey
Deadline: August 15
This quick, 10-minute survey aims to understand:
How AI and legaltech are currently being used in legal practice.
The attitudes of legal professionals toward AI.
The impact of AI across different practice areas and jurisdictions.
The survey is open to everyone in the legal sector — from junior associates to senior partners, from in-house counsel to academics and technologists. All responses are personal and anonymous, and you don’t need to be speaking on behalf of your organisation.
Incentive: Every completed survey earns a complimentary 2-day pass to TechLawFest 2025 in Singapore, where the SOLIA Report will be launched.
2. ALITA APAC Legal Innovation & Technology Ecosystem Map
Deadline: August 15
ALITA is compiling a visual map of the legal innovation and technology ecosystem across APAC. This is your chance to ensure India’s vibrant legaltech sector is well-represented.
They’re inviting submissions from:
Legaltech startups
Alternative Legal Service Providers (ALSPs)
Law firms offering tech-enabled services
Consultancies working in the legal innovation space
If you have more than one product or service, you can submit separate entries for each.
By participating in these initiatives, you’ll be helping to:
Put India’s legaltech ecosystem on the APAC innovation map.
Share our country’s unique challenges, opportunities, and successes.
Build stronger connections across the region’s legaltech community.
With deadlines fast approaching, now’s the time to make your voice heard.
Let’s ensure India’s story is front and centre when the SOLIA Report 2025 is unveiled to the world!
