This week in our Waymaker Wednesday series, we’re spotlighting Namita Shah, Co-founder of Presolv360, a platform redesigning dispute resolution through tech. Based in Mumbai, Namita bridges legal access and innovation, focusing on making justice more efficient and equitable through technology.
Her past roles span mediation, arbitration, directing independent initiatives, and creatively engaging with tech-driven solutions in the legal space all of which shape the bold perspective she brings to the Women in LegalTech community under ILTN.

Here’s a peek into her world:
1. What inspired you to join the Women in LegalTech community?
I’ve always believed that technology has the power to rewrite the story of justice—making it more accessible, empathetic, and efficient. What drew me to this community is the shared vision of women who aren’t just talking about this change but actively building it. Being part of a collective that celebrates innovation, collaboration, and women’s leadership in legaltech felt both natural and inspiring.
2. If you could solve one problem in the legal world (or beyond) with technology, what would it be?
I would solve the problem of access. Too many disputes remain unresolved because justice feels out of reach—whether due to cost, complexity, or geography. If technology can make justice as seamless and universal as sending a message on WhatsApp, we’d truly democratize the legal system.
3. What’s one book, podcast, or resource that’s made a big impact on how you think about work or life?
The Lean Startup by Eric Ries has been a compass in my journey. It taught me to embrace iteration, learn from failure, and always keep the user at the heart of innovation. It’s a mindset that goes beyond work—it shapes how I approach challenges in life as well.
4. Outside of work, what’s something you’re passionate about or love spending time on?
Painting is my happy place. It allows me to pause, reflect, and express parts of myself that words can’t capture. Some of my most meaningful moments have come from creating art that I later share with friends and loved ones—it’s my way of staying grounded and connected.
5. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received as a woman in your career journey?
“Don’t shrink yourself to fit into spaces—expand the space to fit you.” This advice has been my anchor. It reminds me that my perspective as a woman, a founder, and a leader is not something to downplay, but something to bring forward unapologetically.
6. If you weren’t working in law/legaltech, what’s another path you could totally see yourself in?
I’d probably be an educator or an artist. Teaching and storytelling both excite me because they allow you to spark change in others—whether by unlocking ideas or emotions. In many ways, even in legaltech, I see myself doing just that: building, teaching, and creating.
Namita’s journey shows that transforming legal access isn’t just about tools — it’s about purpose, empathy, and persistence. As a Waymaker, she challenges the status quo and demonstrates how legal tech can be a means for inclusion and impact.
