The Indian LegalTech Network (ILTN), in collaboration with vibecode.law, is pleased to announce the winners of the ILTN × vibecode.law Vibeathon 2026.

The Vibeathon brought together lawyers, law students, technologists and other members of the legal community to build practical technology solutions for problems they encounter in legal practice and the justice system. Over the course of the challenge, participants used AI-assisted development tools to turn ideas into working legal technology products.

The Vibeathon received 128 submissions, covering a wide range of problems, from case and court management to legal research, document automation, digital evidence, compliance, access to justice and making legal processes easier to understand. The breadth of the submissions reflected something important: legal technology is not limited to one type of user or one type of problem. It can be used to make a lawyer’s everyday workflow more efficient, help litigants navigate the courts, or simplify processes that are often difficult to understand.

The Winners

After the judging process, three projects emerged as the top submissions.

🏆 Winner — CourtSync

CourtSync focuses on a problem that many lawyers deal with every day: keeping track of cases, hearings and legal work across different systems.

The project brings case-management functionality into Telegram, allowing users to manage cases and receive automated notifications through a familiar messaging interface. Its Vibeathon development also included functionality around eCourts information and legal research.

The idea behind CourtSync is to bring routine legal work into one accessible interface rather than requiring lawyers to move between multiple platforms. Its proposition on vibecode.law captures this simply: “Your entire law practice, just one Telegram message away.”

🥈 Runner-Up — ONE CLICK E-CERTIFIED PROJECT

The ONE CLICK E-CERTIFIED PROJECT tackles the challenges surrounding electronic certification and the use of digital records in legal proceedings.

The project aims to make the certification process more streamlined and accessible, focusing on transparency and trust when dealing with electronic copies and records.

Its central proposition — “Transparency in Every Click, Trust in Every Copy” — reflects the problem it seeks to address: reducing friction in a process that can otherwise be time-consuming and difficult to navigate.

🥉 Third Place — Court Navigator

Court Navigator addresses a different but equally important problem: understanding what is happening in a court case and what comes next.

The project describes itself as “Google Maps for court procedure”, initially focusing on criminal bail applications in Madhya Pradesh District Courts. It provides a seven-stage procedural roadmap:

Prepare → Filing → Scrutiny → Listing → Hearing → Order → Next Step

Users can see where they are in the process, understand what a particular stage means, and access guidance on what may happen next. The tool also includes a document decoder that extracts information such as dates, case references and procedural stages from court notices and orders.

Importantly, Court Navigator is designed around primary sources including eCourts, High Court portals and India Code, with guardrails against outcome predictions and unsupported legal advice. It also provides English and Hindi access to procedural information.

We congratulate the winners on their achievements!!

From Legal Problems to Working Solutions

What made the Vibeathon particularly interesting was the range of problems participants chose to work on.

Some projects focused on lawyers and their everyday workflows, helping with case management, legal research, drafting, document handling and compliance.

Others focused on litigants and access to justice, asking how technology could make court processes, legal information and procedural requirements easier to understand.

There were also projects looking at digital evidence and certification, privacy and data protection, court filings, legal education, dispute resolution and other areas where existing legal processes can be complex, fragmented or time-consuming.

The projects therefore approached LegalTech from different directions, but shared a common starting point: identify a real problem first, then build around it.

The Prize Pool

The Vibeathon carried a ₹1.5 lakh prize pool sponsored by Trilegal:

  • Winner — ₹75,000

  • Runner-Up — ₹50,000

  • Third Place — ₹25,000

₹1.5 lakh is sponsored by Trilegal in memory of the late Mr. Karan Dhingra.

We thank the Trilegal team, Nikhil Narendran, Dipti Sharma and Ramkumaar Madhavan, for sponsoring and supporting the Vibeathon.

We also thank our judges Spriha Bhandari, Komal Gupta, Dipti Sharma, Sateesh Nori, Rahul Chhabra and Vaishali Gopal for their time and thoughtful evaluation, and Alex Baker and the vibecode.law team for helping bring the initiative to the legal technology community.

Most importantly, we thank all 128 participants who took part in the Vibeathon and spent the build period turning legal problems into technology solutions.

The Vibeathon is ultimately about more than the three winning projects. It reflects a growing shift in LegalTech: legal professionals are increasingly becoming builders of the technology they want to use, rather than simply users of technology built for them.

And that is exactly what we hope to continue building on through ILTN.
